Pam Truman Dillavou retired tonight after 40 years of mentoring young majorettes. She joined this year's girls in an amazing twirl of the fire baton. Then she and a large cohort of former students performed a rather snappy routine that they had just learned! Rusty Ruggles presented her with a plaque, a gazillion people snapped pictures, including Tom Harlan with his videocam, and Channel 8 news interviewed her. An impressive commitment and good example, Pam!
